Today's Forecast Would Be More Conducive To Rowing Than To Tennis

Ah, but there was a plethora of matches to look forward to on Wednesday at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, New York.

Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, and Andy Murray vs. Donald Young were all scheduled for 11 this morning, and also on the schedule were Caroline Wozniacki and Roger Federer. Oh heck, the entire lineup looked good today.

But there may be no Wednesday tennis at all, and now we are looking at the real possibility that the men’s final might be on Monday for the fourth year in a row.

Yes, it is raining in New York and when action gets underway today, we will keep you posted. But from the looks of things in mid-morning, I would not be putting too much stock in seeing any tennis until at least tomorrow.

Man, how about thinking about a roof before next year?
