The Xavier Musketeers have been through some tough times this season, falling from a top ten ranking and undefeated record to 10-5 going into Wednesday's night matchup with the Duquesne Dukes. So it was a welcome sight for Musketeer fans that Dezmine Wells shot a perfect 7-7 from the field to score 18 points along with 11 rebounds to lead Xavier to its most lopsided and easiest win of the season at Cintas Center.

Xavier blew open the game early, taking a 44-16 halftime lead punctuated by a Tu Holloway three-pointer with one second before the halftime buzzer. So even as Duquesne gamely tied Xavier 34-34 in the second half, the game was never in doubt.

With the victory, Xavier improves to 11-5 and 2-1 in the Atlantic 10.

The Musketeers now have a couple days off before facing off against the 9-6 St. Bonaventure Bonnies at 12:00 p.m eastern on Saturday.
