The Ohio Bobcats disposed of the Buffalo Bulls 60-52 at Convocation Center in Athens on Wednesday night, and in the process, they also disposed of their two-game losing streak. And they did so despite shooting just 32.2 % from the field.

D.J. Cooper led Ohio with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, as the Bobcats did most of their work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing 23 turnovers.

Ohio had started the season 11-1 with its only loss being a 59-54 decision on the road to the Louisville Cardinals, but they dropped a pair of games, first to the Robert Morris Colonials and then to the Bowling Green St. Falcons.

With the win, Ohio improves to 13-3 overall and 1-1 in the Mid-American.

The Bobcats now get a couple days of rest before they hit the road to take on the 10-6 Akron Zips on Saturday in a game scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. eastern.
