Terry Bowden Wanted In Alabama

New Akron football coach Terry Bowden is a wanted man... literally. Bowden, who took over at Akron last month after leaving the University of North Alabama, now has a warrant out for his arrest in the state of Alabama. What nefarious act did he commit? He failed to pay parking tickets:

WAFF cites court documents saying Bowden was stopped for zipping through a 30 mph zone at 60 mph, and that he missed a September court appearance where $537 in fines were due. That led to a suspension of his license.

Bowden has at least two warrants out for his arrest, both from Georgiana, Alabama. That is not hte only news Bowden has made, as he is bringing along Chuck Amato to the Zips:

Bowden hired former NC State head coach Chuck Amato to be the defensive coordinator, only adding to the name-brand coaches that Bowden is putting together. Amato replaces Kevin Cosgrove, who was let go along with Ianello. And the reasoning behind this, I'm guessing, is Amato's Florida State/Bowden-like ties.
