The 2012 men's college hockey season moves forward this weekend, and all three local teams are set for action on Friday and Saturday. No. 4 Miami (Ohio) hosts Providence, Ohio State goes on the road to face No. 20 Quinnipiac, and Bowling Green takes on Colgate.
Miami (OH) has opened the season 2-0-0, while Ohio St. is 1-1-0, and Bowling Green has stumbled to an 0-2-1 start. The year is young, but all three squads will be pushing to get off to a good start in the first few weeks.
