Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller was slammed to the ground after a 38-yard run against Purdue, landing hard on his left (non-throwing) shoulder, with his head also striking the turf. He was down for a while before slowly sitting, then remained in obvious pain as he walked off the field. Ohio State trainers elected to cart him off the field and into the locker room.
Here's a look at him on the sideline, surrounded by Buckeyes personnel:
A running quarterback, Miller takes a lot of shots and was down with a brief injury concern earlier in this game as well. He's gone nine for 20 with 113 yards and an interception today, along with 66 yards rushing on 11 attempts. Purdue currently leads Ohio State, 20-14.
