The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks moved up one spot in the USCHO.com college hockey rankings, checking in at No. 4.
Miami received 817 votes this week, its second-highest vote total of the season. The Redhawks were the No. 3 team and received 831 votes in the October 22nd poll. Miami dropped down the rankings due to a couple of recent losses, but moved back up this week after going 1-0-1 this weekend. The Redhawks knocked off Northern Michigan 5-2 on Friday before playing to a 2-2 tie then winning the shootout 2-0 on Saturday.
Boston College once again checked in at No. 1 in the poll. The 8-1 Eagles picked up all 50 first place votes. Denver moved up one spot to No. 2 while former No. 2 Minnesota dropped to third. The Golden Gophers have a 73 vote lead over Miami for the No. 3 spot.
