Although they can't play in the postseason, the Ohio State Buckeyes have still had a season to be proud of. Their 21-14 win over the Leaders division winner Wisconsin Badgers last weekend means they can finish with a perfect record so long as they beat the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday.
The Wolverines could have a lot on their mind when the teams face off in Columbus. If the Nebraska Cornhuskers lose to the Iowa Hawkeyes Friday afternoon, Ohio State can deny the Wolverines a trip to the conference championship by beating them. If Nebraska beats Iowa, Michigan is playing only for pride against the Buckeyes.
Sitting behind the Badgers in the Leaders Division is the Purdue Boilermakers and Indiana Hoosiers at 2-5 in conference play with the Illinois Fighting Illini sporting a doughnut in the conference win column in last place.
Michigan can't drop in the Legends Division as the Northwestern Wildcats are two games behind them. The Minnesota Golden Gophers, Iowa Hawkeyes and Michigan St. Spartans are behind them, all sitting at 2-5 in conference play.
