The No. 4 Miami (OH) Redhawks men's hockey team is still chasing Minnesota, New Hampshire and Boston College in the USCHO Division I poll, and this weekend they take a long trip to Alaska for a matchup against the Nanooks. The Redhawks (7-2-3) have done most of their damage at home this season, where they own a sterling 5-0-3 record, but on Friday and Saturday they get an opportunity to turn the tide on the road.
Meanwhile, the Ohio State Buckeyes men's hockey team (5-4-3) heads to East Lansing, Mich., for a matchup against the Michigan State Spartans (4-6-2). The Friday game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network, so if you've been craving hockey here is a chance to see a local school play.
