This weekend's NBA schedule is full of games Friday and Saturday, including two contests for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs play at the Hawks Friday night and return home for a showdown with the Trail Blazers on Saturday.
Against the Hawks, Cleveland will be facing the fourth-best defense in the NBA. Atlanta is holding opponents to just 92.0 points per game, and the Hawks have ridden their tough defense to a 9-4 record and a six-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Cavs are in the Central Division basement at 3-12.
The Trail Blazers will head into Cleveland Saturday night for their second straight road game. The Cavaliers should have a much easier time scoring against Portland, which allows 101.1 points per game, good for 26th in the NBA.
Friday night will feature one nationally-televised game on ESPN, as the Nuggets travel to face the Lakers at 10:30 p.m. ET.
Only two games are on tap for Sunday. The Suns and Knicks meet in New York, and Dwight Howard faces his former team when the Lakers host the Magic.
