Coming off a close 105-102 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, the Cleveland Cavaliers will head west to the Staples Center to face the high-scoring Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers are averaging 105.3 points per contest, good enough for fourth in the league, but are also allowing just over 100 points a game.
The Cavs put away 94 points a game while allowing an average of 101.3 per contest.
The Cavaliers are led in scoring by the second-year man out of Duke, Kyrie Irving, who is averaging 23.7 points a game. Anderson Varejao is averaging a double-double with 13.7 points and 15 rebounds per game. The Clippers are led in scoring by their guards with Jamal Crawford and Chris Paul, averaging 25.7 and 19 points per game respectfully. Paul is also averaging just over a dozen assists per contest.
The Cavaliers beat the Clippers without Irving last year, winning 99-92 in the teams' only meeting of the season.
