The Miami RedHawks (10-3-3) have moved down to the No. 5 ranking this season but, if they take care of business against the Ohio State Buckeyes in upcoming matchups, could see some upward movement into the top 3 again.
Ohio State will host No. 5 Miami on Friday and Saturday, and then Miami will take on Ohio State again Dec. 28 as part of the Three Rivers Classic. The match on Friday will be televised on the Big Ten Network. Miami is 4-2-0 on the road this season, while Ohio State is just 2-2-1 at home on the year.
In other local action, Bowling Green will host No. 3 Notre Dame on Saturday. Notre Dame is 4-1-0 on the road. Surprisingly, Bowling Green is still looking for its first home win this season. The Falcons are 0-6-2 at the BGSU Ice Arena.
