For the NBA, Christmas week is highlighted by five nationally televised Christmas Day games and a Thursday night TNT doubleheader. The Cleveland Cavaliers (6-23) play only once, traveling to Washington on Wednesday to face the Washington Wizards (3-22). The game, taking place at Washington's Verizon Center, features the two worst teams in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is coming off a solid victory at Milwaukee and have an excellent opportunity to build a two-game winning streak. That game tips off at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Dec. 26.
In other games, the NBA will take center stage on Christmas Day, which will feature a national television quintuple-header. The Christmas Day schedule is as follows:
Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets, 12:00 p.m. ET, ESPN
New York Knicks at Los Angeles Lakers, 3:00 p.m. ET, ABC
Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat, 5:30 p.m. ET, ABC
Houston Rockets at Chicago Bulls, 8:00 p.m. ET, ESPN
Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Clippers, 10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
And the Thursday Night TNT doubleheader:

Boston Celtics at Los Angeles Clippers, 10:30 p.m. ET, TNT
