Bowling Green will face No. 24 San Jose State on Dec. 27 in the 2012 Military Bowl, with San Jose State entering the contest as 7 1/2-point favorites. But that didn't stop some experts from picking the Falcons to pull off the upset.
John Tamanaha of NBC Sports gave credit to the Spartans, who went 10-2 this season only two years removed from a 1-12 season, but still picked Bowling Green to pull off the upset.
CBS Sports' panel of experts was not nearly as kind to the Falcons. Several picked Bowling Green to cover the spread, but straight up, only one of seven experts picked them to beat San Jose State.
ESPN is also leaning toward the Spartans. College football expert Will Harris picked San Jose State to beat Bowling Green by 13 points on its way to the 2012 Military Bowl title.
Finally, SB Nation's college football panel weighed in on the subject. And, like most everyone else, the panel favored San Diego State.
