Blue Jackets Vs. Ducks: Anaheim Earns 5-3 Win In Revenge

The Columbus Blue Jackets could not make it two straight over the Anaheim Ducks, falling at home on Sunday evening 5-3.Corey Perry had a hat trick for the visit Ducks as Anaheim stayed in control from the start. Perry scored the first two goals of the game before Fedor Tyutin answered with a goal.

Anaheim made matters worse for the Blue jackets with three second period goals from Perry, Jason Blake, and Bobby Ryan to lead 5-1 before Aaron Johnson scored his third goal of the season. A third period power play goal by Antoine Vermette made things look a little better.

Steve Mason had 30 saves on the night despite giving up five goals, but once again the blue Jackets' porous defense was a major issue. The Blue Jackets continue to have the worst penalty killing unit in the NHL after giving up three more goals on the power play Sunday.
