Bracketology 2012: Ohio State Down To A No. 2 Seed

March Madness is coming up for 2012, and the seeding is starting to get a bit more clear as we go along game by game. The newest SB Nation Bracketology update is out now, and the Ohio State Buckeyes have moved down a bit, partially due to some very strong play by other top seed possibilities in recent weeks.

Ohio State was considered a shoe in for one of the No. 1 seeds earlier in the season, but the four top seeds belong to Syracuse, Kentucky, Duke and Missouri. The Buckeyes have been moved down a bit, but are still a very respectable No. 2 seed overall thanks to a strong conference resume and a 21-4 record.

The Akron Zips are also included in the bracket thanks to their strong play in the MAC so far this season, and are very likely to get an automatic bid if they keep their form up going into the conference tournaments. They are slated to be a 14 seed in the bracket prediction.
