The Cleveland State Vikings (20-8, 10-5 Horizon) suffered their most lopsided defeat of the season on Saturday in a 69-49 loss to the Drexel Dragons (23-5, 14-2 CAA) on Saturday.

Trevon Harmon led Cleveland State with 23 points, but he shot just 9-26 from the field, typifying a terrible shooting night for the team. Cleveland State shot 17-63 (.270) from the field overall, while Drexel converted 22-45 (.489). While offense has been difficult to come by for Cleveland State all season, this was a low point.

Not only did they flop in front of their fans at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, they fell flat on their faces in front of a watchful national audience in a Bracket Buster game televised on ESPNU. Worse yet, this marked a fourth straight loss for the Vikings.

The only good news for the Vikings is that the loss does not affect them in the conference standings, where they remain in second place and 1.5 games behind the Valparaiso Crusaders (19-10, 12-4 Horizon).
