Kyrie Irving was fouled with less than a second left and nailed both free throws to give the Cleveland Cavaliers a 93-92 win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. Irving's heroics came after DeMarcus Cousins scored with two seconds left to put Sacramento in front 92-91.Tyreke Evans fouled Irving as he attempted to get off a game-winning shot just before time expired.
Irving led the Cavs with 23 points, while Antawn Jamison had 21. Tristan Thompson and Ramon Sessions had 15 and 14 points off the bench, respectively.
Isaiah Thomas, a rookie from Washington, had an impressive night for the Kings with 23 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds to just barely miss a triple double. Marcus Thornton finished with 21 for Sacramento, who trailed by seven entering the final period.
