Senior guard Trey Harmon scored a team-best 16 points and freshman forward Marlin Mason added 15 and eight rebounds to help the Cleveland St. Vikings down the Detroit Titans, 77-64, in a Horizon League men's basketball game at the Wolstein Center.
The victory snapped a five-game losing streak for the Vikings (21-9, 11-6 Horizon), while allowing Cleveland State to earn a first-round bye in the upcoming conference tournament, which beings Tuesday.
Ahead just 57-56 with 6:52 remaining in the contest, the Vikings used a 9-0 run over the next 4 1/2 minutes to pull out the win.
Senior guard Chase Simon paced Detroit in scoring by netting 17 points and collection 10 rebounds. The Titans had a five-game winning streak end.
