The Cleveland State Vikings (19-4, 9-2 Horizon) will try to make it four straight wins when they visit the Illinois-Chicago Flames (7-15, 3-9 Horizon) on Sunday afternoon at UIC Pavilion in Chicago.
A low-scoring game is probably in the cards, as the Vikings have held three straight opponents under 58 points, while the Flames just reached 70 points for the first time in February in a 72-68 win over the Youngstown State Penguins.
The Vikings need a win in order to stay ahead of the Valparaiso Crusaders (17-8, 10-3 Horizon) for first place in the conference. Cleveland State is riding a three-game win streak, notching victories against the Milwaukee Panthers, Youngstown State Penguins and Loyola-Illinois Ramblers.
Cleveland State already beat Illinois-Chicago 73-56 at home on Jan. 5., as no one on the Flames reached double figures in scoring and the Vikings went into halftime with a 35-18 lead.
The game is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. eastern.
