NCAA Tournament 2012, Cincinnati Vs. Florida State Score Update: Seminoles Ahead 26-25 At Half

With a trip to the Sweet 16 on the line, the Florida State Seminoles lead the Cincinnati Bearcats 26-25 at the half in a sloppy third round game in the East region.

Both teams struggled to find an offensive rhythm in the opening 20 minutes, and combined for 19 turnovers. Missed shots were also a common occurrence, as the Seminoles shot just 34.6% compared to the Bearcats' 28.6%.

Florida State guard Michael Snaer leads the way in the scoring column with nine points, and is 3-of-6 shooting from three-point range. Cincinnati guards Cashmere Wright and Jaquon Parker are a combined 0-for-9 from the field, while senior leading scorer Dion Dixon is just 3-for-10.

Cincinnati big man Yancy Gates produced only two points in the first half, missing four of his five field goal attempts. Gates will be essential for the Bearcats to handle FSU's length on the interior going forward.
