Kendall Marshall Injury Update: North Carolina Point Guard Has Cast Removed From Right Wrist

The big question mark heading into Ohio's Sweet 16 matchup with No. 1 seed North Carolina continues to be the status of the Tar Heels' star point guard Kendall Marshall. On Wednesday, Marshall tweeted out that he had the cast removed from his fractured right wrist, which he had surgery on just two days ago.

While the cast may be off, his status is still up in the air for Friday night's game against the Bobcats. Roy Williams stated yesterday that the Heels continue to prepare as if they will not have Marshall in the lineup when they square off against the Ohio backcourt duo of Walter Offutt and D.J. Cooper.
