March Madness 2012, UNC Vs. Ohio: TV Schedule, Game Time And More

Ohio will take on North Carolina on Friday in the Sweet Sixteen, and they have a surprisingly good chance to pull the upset special with Kendall Marshall likely to miss the game.

Presswire

Before Kendall Marshall injured his wrist in North Carolina's win over Creighton, the Ohio Bobcats looked like just another easy team to steamroll for Roy Williams' Tar Heels. Now, they had better watch their backs against a spry Bobcats team that already have put together an impressive upset win over Michigan.

That's not to say that UNC is lacking in talent without Marshall of course. Guys like Harrison Barnes and Tyler Zeller give the Tar Heels plenty of scoring opportunities. For Ohio, the game will be up to D.J. Cooper to keep the game in their favor in all sorts of ways. The steals leader and points leader for the squad will need to do it all, with his partner Walter Offult carrying a big chunk of the scoring load while Cooper defends.

UNC has some NBA-level talent on its roster even without Marshall, who technically could still play, so the Bobcats will need to bring their A-game if they want a chance at an Elite Eight appearance against Kansas or NC State. If they give the Heels an inch, they've got the talent to take it a mile.

Matchup: No. 1 University of North Carolina Tar Heels vs. No. 13 Ohio Bobcats

Game Time: March 23, 7:47 p.m. (Approx.) ET.

TV: TBS
