Cavs Vs. Magic Score Update: Cleveland Trails By 15 At The Half In Orlando

The Cleveland Cavaliers struggled in the first half on Friday night and were overwhelmed by the Orlando Magic, who went off for 55 points and have a 15-point lead heading into the locker room at Amway Center. The Magic shot 56 percent from the floor in the first half while the Cavaliers hit only 37 percent, including just one-three-pointer.

Celebrating his 20th birthday, rookie Kyrie Irving has six points in 17 minutes so far. Antawn Jamison and Tristan Thompson lead the Cavaliers with eight points each. Thompson, who's in his first week as the starting center, grabbed six rebounds as well. Ryan Anderson leads all scorers as the Magic forward who loves to chuck it from three has already put up eight attempts from behind the arc in just one half.

The Magic are capable of going ice cold at any time, as their 59-point effort earlier this week illustrated. They've been plagued by quarters in the mid to even low-teens this season, so the Cavaliers can certainly get back in this if they turn up the defensive pressure.
