NCAA Tournament 2012, Syracuse Vs. Ohio State Score Update: Buckeyes, Orange Deadlocked At 29 At Half

The battle for the East region is underway, and the Ohio State Buckeyes are deadlocked with Jim Boeheim's top-seeded Syracuse Orange 29-29 after 20 minutes. After seeing the Buckeyes storm out to an early 9-2 advantage, the two teams played even ball for the remainder of the half in a tightly-contested basketball game.

All-American forward Jared Sullinger has yet to get rolling offensively, and owns a meager line of four points and three rebounds. Teammates DeShaun Thomas and William Buford lead the way with six points for Ohio State, but the Buckeyes are shooting just 1-for-8 from the perimeter (12.5%) and 10-for-30 from the floor (33.3%).

For Syracuse, point guard Scoop Jardine, who posted 14 points in his team's Sweet 16 victory over Wisconsin on Thursday, is tops in the scoring column with seven points on 2-of-4 shooting.
