Big East Tournament 2012: Cincinnati Leads Syracuse 35-23 At Halftime

Cincinnati has ridden hot three-point shooting to take a 35-23 halftime lead over the Syracuse Orange in the semifinals of the 2012 Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Bearcats have made eight of their 12 three-point shots over the first 20 minutes and opened the game on a 25-8 run. Sean Kilpatrick is leading all scorers with 12 points, all coming on three point shots. Cashmere Wright has chipped in nine points, while Dion Dixon has added seven.

For Syracuse, Dion Waiters is leading the way with eight points off the bench. Fab Melo has added seven points, but no other Syracuse player has scored more than three points.

The winner of this game will face either Louisville or Notre Dame in the Big East championship game Saturday night.
