MAC Tournament 2012: Akron Leads Kent State 41-36 At Halftime

Nikola Cvetinovic leads all scorers with 12 points as Akron leads Kent State 41-36 at halftime of the first MAC Tournament semifinal at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

No. 1 seed Akron has held the lead since Quincy Diggs' jumper with 13:09 remaining in the first half gave the Zips a 17-15 lead.In addition to Cvetinovic's 12 points, Chauncey Gilliam and Nick Harney have chipped in with eight points apiece, while Diggs and Zeke Marshall have each added four points.

For No 4 seed Kent State, Justin Greene has eight points to lead the Golden Flashes. Eric Gaines is Kent State's second-leading scorer with five points.

The winner of tonight's game will face the winner of the second semifinal game between No. 3 Ohio and No. 2 Buffalo in Saturday night's MAC Championship game.
