Last night's Cavs game at the Palace of Auburn Hills was a complete abomination. Yes, the Cavaliers are banged up and playing largely with a minor league roster, but Byron Scott's club put forth a completely uninspired and pathetic effort, trailing 100-50 after 36 minutes against the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons have played improved basketball since the All-Star break, but even the most deliberate tank job should never go that low. Perhaps the one sequence that summed up the ineptitude best was a second quarter play where Antawn Jamison threw a chest pass right off the chin of referee Nick Buchert. The pass was intended for Lester Hudson, who was flashing out but Jamison missed him by a good five feet.
