The Kent State Golden Flashes will close out their intense two-week spring practice schedule on Saturday afternoon with their annual Blue and Gold game. Kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m., barring any inclement weather.
The Blue and Gold captains got together this past Wednesday and made their roster selections in the second annual mock draft for the culmination of their spring. Head coach Darrell Hazell made some special stipulations prior to the draft -- like separating the quarterbacks -- but wanted his players to have some fun with the process.
Wide receivers coach Thad Jemison will coach the Blue squad and Safeties coach Jeff Burrow will be the head coach for the Gold team.
Admission to the game is free and can also be heard live on KentStateSports.com. Before the game, the team is holding a free youth clinic from 1-2 p.m. ET.
