Cavaliers Vs. Wizards Final Score: Cleveland Downed By Streaking Washington, 96-85

The Cleveland Cavaliers were upended by the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night, 96-85, closing out their home portion of the schedule this season. The win was the Wizards' fifth in a row and the loss for the Cavs keeps them in serious contention for the third best lottery odds when the NBA Draft lottery takes place at the end of May.

Rookie of the Year candidate Kyrie Irving started the game despite coming down with an illness beforehand, but did not play beyond the first half. He finished with five points and an assist. The Cavs were instead led by D.J. Kennedy (!) who had 12 points and six rebounds in 30-plus minutes.

The Wizards were led by John Wall, who was close to a quadruple double; he finished with 21 points, 13 assists, seven rebounds, and seven steals.

The Cavs close out their disappointing season Thursday night at Chicago.
