The Cleveland Indians (10-8) and Los Angeles Angels (6-14) will get right back to work as the two teams are set to square off on Saturday at Progressive Field in the second game of a three-game weekend set. Fresh off a thrilling walk-off 3-2 win by the Indians on Friday night, Cleveland will look to string together a couple of wins against a struggling Angels ball club.
The projected starters for Saturday are Dan Haren for the Halos and Jeanmar Gomez for the Tribe. Haren is 0-1 this season in four starts and has a 4.07 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 24.1 innings pitched. Gomez is 1-0 this season in two starts and has a 1.93 ERA with six strikeouts in 9.1 innings pitched. Gomez has only allowed four hits all season.
Los Angeles has now lost nine of their last 12 and are in the midst of a five-game losing streak that spans to last Saturday. With a win on Saturday, the Indians will close out the first month of the season with a winning record.
Saturday's game will start at 1:05 pm.
