2012 NBA Mock Draft: Could Cavs Pass On Brad Beal To Go Big With Andre Drummond?

The NBA Draft is a little over a month away, and it will be a huge night for the future of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs have a very good chance to land a top three pick and add a cornerstone piece to match up with Kyrie Irving. If they do fall in the top three, many expect the Cavaliers to land either Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, or Bradley Beal. But NBA Draft Room thinks Chris Grant and company could look insider, and take who they call a "poor man's Dwight Howard."

The 6'10 center prospect from UConn has an NBA build but has no developed and NBA offensive skill set yet. Drummond has plenty of potential, but based on his 2011-12 season, Beal is considered the safer pick. Here's what NBA Draft Room has to say about Drummond at No. 3:

Physical specimen who is built like Dwight Howard. Very good quickness and explosiveness for a big man - can attack the rim with great power. Should be a very good rebounder and interior defender at the pro level and is developing nice offensive post moves. A rare, elite center prospect.
