If it is a torn pectoral muscle, Taylor would miss four to sixth months, dramatically affecting the Browns plans along the defensive line. The Browns' 2011 first round pick had an impressive rookie campaign anchoring the inside of the defense with Ahtyba Rubin. The Browns third round pick out of Cincinnati, John Hughes, just signed a four-year deal this week and could be seeing the field more than he or the Browns expected come September.
