The NBA Draft Lottery is two weeks away, and the Cavaliers have the third-best odds of landing the top pick. Dan Gilbert's club can do no worse than the No. 6 pick overall, and SB Nation NBA expert Tom Ziller put out a mock draft that highlights some of the cruelest outcomes for each team in the lottery, based on the basketball gods wishes. Ziller has the Cavaliers picking No. 6, where they land North Carolina wing Harrison Barnes.

At one point, it was predicted Barnes would land with Cleveland with a top 3 pick in 2011. He returned to Carolina for his sophomore season and his stock dropped after a quiet, and at times wholly unimpressive, 2012 NCAA Tournament. Ahead of Barnes in Ziller's mock are Anthony Davis, Thomas Robinson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Bradley Beal, and Andre Drummond. Coming on the heels of Kyrie Irving's Rookie of the Year campaign, any of those six players will be a nice addition, but Barnes would probably be the least attractive, both from needs-based and scouting-based standpoints.
