The 2012 Kentucky Derby post positions were revealed Wednesday and Rousing Sermon has drawn the seventh gate. To his left at the sixth post position is hard-charging Bodemeister and Creative Cause, the horse with the second-best odds to win, will be running to his right at the eighth gate.

Rousing Sermon most recently finished third in the Lousiana Derby and the odds are currently 50-1 against him winning at Churchill Downs. Jose Lezcano, ranked among the leading riders in the nation for the past several years, will be jockeying the horse. Lezcano finished second in the Kentucky Derby riding aboard Ice Box. The horse's trainer Jerry Hollendorfer, has trained over 6000 winners and entered the horse racing Hall Of Fame in 2011.

Here is the complete list of post positions.
