NBA 2012 Mock Draft: Cavs Add Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Tony Wroten, And Doron Lamb

We're a week away from the 2012 NBA Drafy Lottery, and the Cavaliers will likely have four picks in the top 35, creating an opportunity to add plenty of impressive college talent. The scouting gurus at DraftExpress have released their latest mock draft, ranking players in accordance with their value based on their scouting profiles. It does not yet take into account team needs, but they do list Michael Kidd-Gilchrist as the No. 3 overall pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Kentucky wing is a former high school teammate of Cavs Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving, and DraftExpress writes that he's an elite athlete who will be can be an instant contributor even as he develops and offensive skill set:

Not someone who can be expected to shoulder an offense considering his somewhat limited skill-set, he is the type of player who needs good teammates around him to fully utilize all the different things he does well. He really understands the nuances of making others better with his ability to set screens, pass, and make hustle plays, which is likely a big reason why he's always been considered such a winner from very early on in his career.

Based on their current slots, DraftExpress also has the Cavaliers adding two of MKG's Wildcat teammates in the second round. They list Doron Lamb and Darius Miller going with the second and third overall picks in Round 2, making it a Kentucky trio in Cleveland. As for the Lakers pick which the Cavs have the rights to at No. 24, DraftExpress predicts Washington super athlete Tony Wroten as the selection.
