The 2012 Memorial Tournament gets underway on Thursday morning at Muirfield Village with a loaded field. The top players in the world are all in attendance in Dublin, competing at Jack Nicklaus's venerable tournament. It's often viewed as the final tune-up before the U.S. Open and all of the big names will be on hand.
Golf channel will carry the broadcast from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m ET during Thursday's first round. Coverage will most certainly focus on the power grouping of Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, and Bubba Watson, who are set to tee off at 1:05 p.m. ET. Hunter Mahan, Justin Rose, and Steve Stricker will be one group ahead of them off No. 1, while Dustin Johnson will make his return at the same time off No. 10.
