2012 Kentucky Derby: Post Time, TV Schedule, Video And More

Favorite Union Rags will lead the competitive field of 20 horses to the post.

A competitive field of 20 horses will run for the rose at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky in the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday evening.

The live odds on Saturday morning found Union Rags assuming the favorite role at 9:2 odds to win, as former favorite Bodemeister moved to 7:1 after spending much of the week as a 4:1 favorite. Track conditions hope to improve throughout the day as groundskeepers are hard at work getting the track in shape after overnight rain blew through the Louisville area.
