After a thrilling Game 1 win over Oregon in Super Regional play, the Kent State Golden Flashes are one victory away from Omaha. Game 2 will take place late Sunday night, with first pitch coming at 10 p.m. ET in Eugene. The Flashes are going for a remarkable 22nd straight win as they continue their magical run through the postseason, from Avon to Gary and now Eugene.
The Flashes never trailed on Saturday night but the Ducks took it down to the wire, as KSU and ace David Starn got out of one jam after another. The game finished with a miraculous diving catch in centerfield by Evan Campbell to close it out with the bases loaded. With a trip to Omaha on the line, Strongsville's Ryan Bores will get the ball in Game 2. Oregon will counter with Jake Reed. Schedule and broadcast information below:
