With the 2012 NBA Draft a little more than two weeks away, the rumors are flying as teams try to jostle for position and decipher the tea leaves. One rumor that surfaced over the weekend after the conclusion of the pre-draft combine in Chicago involves the Cavaliers swapping picks with the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland and Cleveland are two teams that have multiple first round selections, with Cleveland holding No. 4 and No. 24 and Portland having No. 6 and No. 11. According to Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld, the two teams have talked about exchanging their picks:
Cleveland and Portland have talked about swapping draft picks, according to source. Cavs would get #6 and #11, Blazers would get #4 and #24.

It's certainly an interesting rumor, with the Cavaliers jumping up significantly with the second first-round selection. Cleveland is looking to add a big-name to pair with Kyrie Irving, and this Draft has a top tier of six players.
