NBA Draft 2012: Brad Beal Will Workout For Cavaliers

One of the top targets in the 2012 NBA Draft is Florida two-guard Bradley Beal. The one-and-done Gator is an elite prospect who should not fall out of the top five. Once the Cavaliers did not land the No. 1 pick with some more lottery luck, initial reports from Chad Ford indicated that they were hoping to get either Beal or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist out of this June's draft.

NBA Draft Rumors: Cavs Targeting Harrison Barnes

The Cavaliers will work out dozens of players in their preparations and Mary Schmitt Boyer of the Plain Dealer reports that Beal will indeed by one of them. The Cavs are apparently the team with the lowest pick that he will work out for, according to his agent. Via @PDCavsInsider:

Many mock drafts predict that Beal will go ahead of the Cavaliers in the top three, but if he does fall to No. 4, it would be hard for Chris Grant to pass up the opportunity to pair him with Kyrie Irving as Cleveland's backcourt of the future.
