Jason Dufner has teed off at Day 3 of the U.S. Open at Olympic Club in San Francisco, where as expected, just about everyone has struggled to shoot low scores. Coming into Saturday's action, Dufner was 3-over on the tournament and remained that way through the first two holes of Day 3.
Dufner parred the first hole after making birdie on Thursday and bogeying the same hole on Friday. Six other players are in the mix with Dufner, tied for 9th place.
Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk and David Toms share the lead at 1-under par, and all three golfers should be teeing off pretty soon.
Michael Thompson, who held the lead on Friday but lost it on Saturday, opened his day with a birdie to improve his score to even-par.
