Charles Barkley Praises Cleveland Fans, Rips Miami

Charles Barkely has repeatedly said the NBA Finals will end tonight in Miami, with LeBron James capturing his first NBA title in a "gentleman's sweep" of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Barkley continues to do the media rounds during the Finals and he joined 106.7 in Washington, DC on Thursday and lobbed some grenades at Miami fans while throwing some red meat to Clevelanders. LeBron James, first of all he has to take some responsibility [for] the way he did the stuff last year leaving Cleveland, the decision, coming on stage talking about not five, not six, seven championships. So he deserves some blame, but like I say, he's a great kid, he's a great, great player. ... If you look at his résumé right now, the only thing he's missing is a championship, and he's gonna get that done [Thursday]. And no telling how many championships they're going to win. ... I wish he had stayed in Cleveland, because those fans in Cleveland, man, they're fantastic. They don't even have real fans here in Miami, they're front-runners.

The "bad sports town" cliche is used pretty often when commentators, or trolls, talk about Miami. Regardless of where it takes place, it would be tough to see LBJ win a title in anything other than a Cavaliers uniform -- something that, for the first time in his career, is on the line tonight.
