NBA Draft Rumors: Could Draymond Green Interest Cavs At No. 24?

In her "Hey, Mary" Mailbag, the Cleveland Plain-Dealer's Mary Schmitt Boyer says Michigan State forward Draymond Green could be an option for the Cavaliers at Pick No. 24.

Boyer goes on to say that perhaps Cleveland will look for more size with the pick. Green stands only 6-foot-7, undersized for a power forward by NBA standards, and it may not make sense to take another wing-type player if the Cavs decide to take Harrison Barnes at No. 4.

With NBA Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving already at point guard, Boyer (and she's not alone) thinks the Cavs would do well to add a scoring forward, though if Florida guard Bradley Beal remains on the board at No. 4, it would be tempting for Cleveland to take him there. Beal measured almost 6-5 at the NBA Combine and could quickly team with Irving to form a formidable back court.

One thing Boyer makes clear, however, is that nothing about the Cavs' upcoming draft is clear at all.
