The Columbus Blue Jackets made big efforts to solidify their goalkeeping during the draft, but they still find themselves with a number of holes to fill when free agency begins. Finding a taker for Rick Nash would go a long way towards restocking the roster, but SB Nation's Blue Jackets blog The Cannon says they could still use a little more experience on the forward lines:

While players like Derek MacKenzie, Ryan Russell, and Colton Gillies were able to move into increased checking line roles at the end of the season, and the club carries several potential "wild cards" in Ryan Johansen, Tomas Kubalik, Michael Chaput, and Boone Jenner who could potentially play in different roles, an injection of proven NHL experience - especially if it comes with a decent scoring touch and some defensive ability - would be a good improvement.

NHL free agency opens at noon on Sunday.
