The Cavaliers will certainly be able to get an elite talent with the No. 4 overall pick in this month's 2012 Draft. With Anthony Davis off the board, Cavaliers fans are clamoring for either Brad Beal or Michael Kidd- Gilchrist, but there's certainly the possibility that both of those prospects are also off the board at No. 4.

We've also already heard that Cavs GM Chris Grant has both Beal and MKG as two top targets. But the latest mock draft from Jeff Goodman at CBSsports.com thinks the Cavaliers go a different direction, even with MKG on the board. He thinks the range of Harrison Barnes, and a preexisting relationship with Kyrie Irving, will win out:
The Cavs need a perimeter shooter -- and that's exactly what Barnes does well. He's also extremely tight with Cavs floor leader Kyrie Irving. In fact, they even share the same agent.
Drafting Barnes over Kidd-Gilchrist would be against the conventional projection, and while Barnes and Kyrie are very close, MKG and Irving have a comparable relationship from playing together at St. Patrick's in high school.
