The Cincinnati Reds announced that Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer will throw out the first pitch when the state's two MLB teams clash next week. With interleague play getting underway against the Cardinals this weekend, the Tribe next heads south to play the Reds for a mid-week series and Meyer will throw out the first pitch during the second game on Wednesday night. While he hails from the Northern half of the state, it's still unclear who he'll pledge his allegiance to next week.

↵It will be hard for him to do much worse than the Cincinnati mayor, Mark Mallory, who went down in infamy with his abominable effort at Great American Ballpark.
