On Tuesday afternoon, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers have dropped out as the third-team in the proposed Dwight Howard blockbuster trade that is being put together by the Brooklyn Nets and Orlando Magic.

Yahoo! isn't the only outlet to report this development as Ken Berger of CBS Sports also cited sources saying that the Cavaliers decided to pull out of the trade on Monday.

In the proposed deal, the Cavaliers reportedly would have received Kris Humphries in a sign-and-trade, Quentin Richardson, Sundiata Gaines, a first round pick from the Nets and three million in cash.
