The Cleveland Browns added a potential instant impact receiver on Thursday afternoon, selecting Baylor's Josh Gordon in the second round of the NFL's Supplemental Draft. Gordon has not played in over a year, sitting out the 2011 season after a suspension for a failed drug test and then a subsequent transfer to Utah. Gordon decided to go into the supplemental draft instead of playing for the Utes, and the Browns took immediate interest in the big wideout.
It is Cleveland's first supplemental draft pick since Bernie Kosar, and that worked out pretty well for Browns fans. But there's still some intrigue surrounding Gordon because he has such potential but has not played in a year.
