The 2012 British Open is set to get underway on Thursday, and there are a number of ways for golf fans to watch the Open Championship online. WatchESPN.com is the primary source to legally stream the tournament, with coverage beginning Thursday at 3:30 a.m. ET. A cable subscription is required for some of the feeds, but many are accessible to all. A live feed will also be available at TheOpen.com, but only for fans in the UK.
This year is also the first time that Royal Lytham and St. Annes has made watching the British Open online possible via mobile device. Live scoring, video highlights, a course guide, and a live stream of holes 9, 10 and 11 will all be accessible via apps available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
Stick with this StoryStream for results, leaderboard updates and more from the 2012 British Open. For all things golf, check out SB Nation's golf hub.
